Change frame rails to at least 966, just so you dont have to redrill front motor mount holes. If it was a gas 766 you will need a radiator for a 400 series engine. You will also need a diesel fuel tank so you can have the fuel return to the tank. Hoods are the same length. Exhaust hole is different. Recut hood hole and patch old one. Starter will need changed to a diesel starter. Hope this

Jake I think you missed the point to which I was trying to make. I was not offered by those pictures. Matter of fact I personally liked them. But I'm a grow man and can decide those things. My point was that if you start censoring stuff, where does it stop? Some say the pictures are different from the names. Some can argue differently. I have nothing against Adam or his pictures. My

Here is a little food for thought. Since we have this mess going on about censorship and naming of tractors. Seems like some people are up in arms about the names of a few tractors. Offensive as some have called them. Having to explain to thier kids what they mean. I love this web site. So dont get all torqued up on me about what im about to say. On another thread, {Harrisburg Session 1 pi

How many different mounting plates does IH have? Im in need of the one that has the studs that are center to center 2 inch apart for the side ones. This bolt pattern makes a perfect rectangle. The case pump PES6A.....that i have has the smaller foot print. From what ive been told, i need the plate, hub, and gear from a DT360. Can anybody help? Thanks Donnie

I need help with an A pump going on to a IH DT466. The pump is a PES6A from a 1370 case. Who or where makes the mounting plate and gear for this change? New or used would work. I was told the backing plate would work of off truck motor. The pump has a much smaller bolt pattern. And no way will the truck gear work. Pump has much smaller shaft. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance. D

Dear OMG. I set here and typed a small book as yourself did, without the all caps. But then really decide it wasn't really worth dignifying what you were trying to accuse me of. I asked a simple question about this subject. Seems like to me that is a simple request. I guess the seven tickets that I bought for this event was to watch possibly a fraud? I guess that could be taken to the

My question on this subject, Why hasn't anybody from the NTPA or Louisville stood up for their side of this? Seems to me they would want to save some face. This has got way out of hand. Im not taking anybodys side here, but it seems the OBA bunch have at least come on and stated their side. A simple comment by the powers to be would clear this up and put a end to all this. Right, wrong

Im pretty sure everyone seen that mess up. It was bad enough everyone in the stand let out a big sigh! I was wondering the same thing. No neutral switch? How did that pass tech? Why wasn't something said about that? That was way worse in my opinion than the sand show.

I totally disagree with that statement. But I do so in a totally respectful way. 1- If they need a 3 hour show, cut down on the classes in one night. There was enough of the other nights that sure could have used some finals. 2- You pay a sled rental company to do a job. They should know how to set a sled for such classes. Now I know I'll take a beating for that statement, but at lea

I have pulled for many years, and to me this is all non sense. Why put the fate of a pullers outcome in a flagmans hands? If there is a "solid" full pull line that we all aim for, this becomes a non issue. Even the newest of attendents can tell when it has been crossed. Why must we make everything so difficult? As for the Water scandal, they should not leave the end of the track before they

As an earlier post said, If I dont like a tractor, owner, or driver, all I have to do is jump out on the track to get them DQ'ed? Well now isnt that something to think about.

It will not be turning anymore than 2600 rpm. That is stock rpm for flywheel. That is the reason im not wanting to use a spacer.

The spacer i used was 7/8' thick. 986 flywheel, 986 back plate, 7/8" spacer and a 1066 starter. The flywhell does need a 560 diesel ring gear. Everything works pretty slick. I dont understand why you needed 1.500" spacer? Unless using 560 starter needs that big of a spacer. 1066 starter works with a 560 diesel not gas ring gear.

Who does one need to talk to about a N/A D-466 IH camshaft grind? Im looking at 2800 rpm and pulling mph classes. I know several guys that are very good at turboed engines, Im hunting for the natural guy now. And that may be the same guys. I don't know that the same grind wouldnt work for a natural. I would think there would be some differences though. Any thoughts or names that could

One more question from me. With your proposed rules, how fast will the tractors, for the most part, run? Im pretty sure we all know what the answer to that question is. Do you really want to be yanking hoses off to check turbos? Thats fun for about the first 2 tractors. I do in all honesty hope you have a good pull. But to be honest, Im kidda licking my chops ready to run to your rules. I
