There is still horse pulls. I think pulling will be ok for a long time except in the "country of California."

Do you mean it has a 466 block or 466 cubes. Huge difference.

I'll never pull there in any class but I wouldn't want to change a setup for one hook anywhere unless I was testing something.

So what's the box turbo ? I have friend pulling in this class that pulls in New York and Empire State pullers. Is this turbo different than what he normally runs ? Just curious.

I just got fall fertilizer prices and they are double or more than In April. I was told they were todays price and expect them to go even higher. With fuel and all other inputs going way up there is no conceivable way that farmers can grow crops at these prices and stay in business. We are at a turning point in this country and it's not a good one.
Our true power in our country has come fro

Who were the knuckle heads that made the first move to deal with a communist nation ? I doubt we can ever come up with any solutions to change this debacle. I think someone tried and they hit us with a germ in a huge way. I give him credit but we now know were we stand. They now know they don't need a nuclear weapon to take us down.

I've only been a brush puller since 1976 but I think the bigger problem for fans is the fact we have more classes of tractors than even we can keep track of. If it blows smoke they don't care if it's a $500,000 tractor or a $50,000 one if the sled is set right for each. If you think brands don't matter then don't go in the pits in any of the truck classes or you might com

Try running them the same. I think they'd be pretty even.

I strongly disagree. Think about it. You have a great chassis, clutch set-up, roll cage, data logger, rear end built for pulling and tranny. It doesn't have to be a Sf it could be a L Pro or as in Pa. tractors a Mod turbo. I've always said if you want to be a top runner buy up a class and demote it to the lower class. We bought a Hot Farm and it runs real good but without spending ano

What brand and model tractor ? If it's a Deere I would think you can adapt to a stock cooler that should help. That would be a simpler fix. I don't know what other brands have for coolers.

So in 5 years tracks will be 400 then 5 more years 450 etc. Crazy. Like already said the sleds can stop them on an indoor track so why not outdoors. Yea I don't like some of the tight settings but that's pulling.

Prayers for his family as they go through this sad time. His friendly smile and calming voice sure will be missed by all who ever had a visit with him. He had a positive legacy in the sport of pulling and I'm sure in everything he did. God be with his family and friends.

The class we pull in had a tractor hit a concrete barrier and knock it over. I'm glad they had 20' behind the barrier roped off so no one was behind it. It could have crushed someone. It was a good idea that other tracks should follow.

Castner's Performance Systems Penn Yan New York. They have a web site. I shouldn't tell you this because they build or have their hands in some mean tractors and you might be a competitor. If a green one I could tell you of other builders.

I've been pulling since 1976 and the hottest tractor has been a Hot Farm. I can't imagine letting someone run a 4.1 with no experience at all. My friend runs one and I'll tell you what it's a ride for sure. All I can see is parts a flying from holding it wide open before go time or taking that wild ride toward the barriers or what ever else can happen. A remote shut off would

I don't know what your future intentions are but we run a Raush (spelling) wet clutch in a Hot Farm tractor and haven't had clutch issues yet. We did snap the input shaft and take out some gears. I've been told to expect to need disks at some point like any clutch set up. I have a friend that ran the original wet clutch with quadrange and is in the process of putting a 20 series re

You are all correct but if you want to pull in your own area you have to play with the rules for that area. Just thinking out loud on how to give pullers more options. I'd love to run a P-pump etc. and it may come to that for us.

What do you think about a 466, 3x3 A pump with cooler running with a 466, 3x3 with P pump and no cooler. I am just kicking the idea around so Pa. Hot Farms can run with New York Hot farms and vise versa. The fairs seem to be looking at the Hot Farm classes more and more. Combining the 2 would give more tractors in the class and an opportunity for others to build for this class. The New York class

The funniest I've seen was a man and wife in their 80's wearing masks riding in a 70's Little red express Dodge pickup going to town. I know them. They're a retired farm couple. I doubt very much he ever wore a mask while grinding his own feed or a respirator while spraying his crops for 50 years.

Are you sure 466 Hot Farms are invited ? We were invited to a pull this week and after we got there they said we shouldn't have been invited and we had to pull exhibition. Glad it was a local pull. Hate to travel 4 hours and get the same reception.

Last year when it was mandated our local TSC had a guy right at the door. No mask stay out. I was wearing one on the last round but this time I've had it. We started going to fairs with our puller and haven't seen a mask but they are neighboring counties. This may really hurt our county fair. I'm not sure it can with stand another no show. Good luck to the rest of you.
