Dad and I were talking about this and we thought a collapsible steering column might be a good idea in this sort of situation.

Pretty nasty stuff. I think that roll cage saved his life makes a collapsible steering column look like a good idea too.

I think the proposed classes are too similar to existing ones.
However, what we do need is more tractors that work on the mini sled. I would propose something like the mini pros but allowing LP, gasoline, and maybe E85 since it supports farmers.

That's exactly the point do you want another 12,000 people to die needlessly if it can be avoided?

To me a pulloff just means the sled wasn't set tight enough the first time. Pulloffs should be extremely rare and special, not routine.

I was enjoying a picture of a banter 7 engine mod and I did some math. I've read they made about $1500 horsepower back then so that makes 10,500 a top of the line PPL mod with a mere 4 8-71s would make about that today wouldn't it?

They can't still make an awful lot of power and cylinder pressure with a single turbo. Im not convinced that the cable system is adequate

We really need to talk about securing the engines better. Maybe a steel cage around the engine that bolts to the frame?

EFI would mean LESS scattered parts because it is more likely to prevent a lean condition which has killed many engines.

Id rather start by trying to combine lss and sso as they have fewer hooks combined than ssd does by itself. Have them both at 7k. Lss 20 hitch and sso@18
