Hello gents, I am contumplating the thought of putting an 8.1 head on my 40 series JD 466 engine, any Idea if I will run into any problems? is it worth doing? how bout if I just stuck the whole dang motor in there, much advantage? let me know what you all think about it all input is greatly appreciated thanks

I believe I had heard that the grand national champion that you speak of what thrown out for 5years, thought I heard that somewhere along the line, anyway while you got that pumpkin apart you ought to concentrate more on traction, this year you got some stiff competition coming your way.........

well boys, I know for a fact there is a 560 running around up there thats some where around 1000hp, heard hes hard to beat!!!, Chief6030 are you out of the same camp with the boys that came rollin into the wheel days pull in Ny to play in the mud with us? if you are you guys got some good running equipment if I remember rite I belive there was two 4430s, a 4230, and a 6030 on that trailer from VT

Snycro is the way to go pick it n stick it, no shifting between gears, and blowing the clutch out on your quad, if your planning on making any power at all, do yourself a favor, get a steel flywheel, and turn that perma clutch into a 4disk by using the pto side aswell, and forget about using it around the farm and buy a cheap junk 1066 to use on the farm, no need to be proud there just be proud o

where did you get your cam done? could you give me some tips, or things to watch out for when I cam mine? it is a SBJD 40series motor stock internals, will I gain much Hp, and torque by caming my engine, even if I do not change my head, Don't get me wrong I do want to change my head to a 55 series, but I am told then pistons need changed, not too sure it is in the budget rite now, as every o
