I would definatly go for the vogel cam, as far as timing tell chuck what your plans are and set it where he tells you....scrap the 3lm they are junk....dont get too crazy on your pump timing and you will hold the charger in just fine. Should be a good little runner.

I would say it would hang in just fine. I would be concerned with the 3lm turbo deal though I'm just not a fan of a 3lm way too antiquated. The 540s and 466s you would be running against are they gas or diesel? Are you thinking of running yours on gas or diesel? I have seen 268 cubic inch fords with stock turbos hang right in and also beat some big cube strong running deeres. That is also di

Well from what i see turbo tractors run Enhanced or Hot stock, seldom do you see a turbo tractor at that weight running the pace or farm stock classes if they do its there poragative....most times at pace you will see a naturally aspirated tractor take the class...if you dont want to pull with turbocharged tractors just dont pull the class they are in. If you want to go fast put a turbo on and ru

Your right, the Lora's do have a good thing going.......so far........problem is somebody is going to get killed if they don't get that track straightened out! A few years ago we saw a case tractor flip over there, now almost a light ford. And many many more scary rides. We all love tractor pulling and going fast, but going fast outta control is no fun for anyone. I hope the Lorahs will

I would leave it alone, by cutting .250 deep valve reliefs you have dropped the compression a pretty fair amount. If you really want an expert opinion I would give the man who made your cam a call. He truly is top shelf, and no doubt in my mind WILL NOT steer you wrong!.........at 3000 rpm you want lugability dropping compression will defiantly hinder your lugability.

Smithcl7, the reason why it pulls like nothing is behind you is because your going WAYYYYYY too slow, with that combo you ought a be in road gear plus if properly dialed in!

That was 3days ago haven't heard anything. Spoke with a few other people that say Karl won't come thru? I don't want to say anything like that because I do like his products, but bottom lin

Just curious how far one would have to strip a 5020 to make 9500 lbs class and have some moveable weight. Would like to still be able to maintain a stock looking tractor. Have pto, keep internal brakes, and hydraulic steering. Thanks all.

I have heard it has been done, taking a parent bore block and boring it out to the point that there is no bore left. Then taking a larger sleeve or the new bore if you will, and welding it into the block. I am looking for someone who has done it or does it on a regular basis? Would like to discuss the options. Thanks all
