Most of us lack room to add width and still maintain safety margins. Adding width will allow rigs to get even more sideways without shutting down on the chance "I might make it". I don't want to add to the chance of rigs aimed at the crowd full throttle while the driver decides if he can get it straight again. It is part of reading the track and knowing how your rig will respond. This comme

Just saw the post. I answered over on Fonda's a while back. The semis seemed to create more buzz than the TWDs. The last I heard was waiting to check on national conficts for the semis. If there is, TWD will likely be back. We can afford only X number of classes. Personally I liked all the classes on 2 nights. We got crucified by the fans for the lower numbers Saturday night. I think OSTPA n

Friday stays the same. I posted to here for comments before everything gets set in concrete. I hope some of the Pro drivers can weigh in on this year's plans.I have been left with the feeling to expect less this year. Those drivers have been supporters for many years.

Well we are going back to just Saturday night. SM4x4, SS tractor, Super Farm, Modifieds, and Semis are the plan at this time. The Pro Stocks are missing due to the lack of numbers left after a bunch figured out they are as good as any national runner out there. Now is the time to speak up. Flail away. Don

Speaking as parent of 2 college boys. There goes that tractor fund. With them gone I find myself missing the track meets and band and Scouts And 4H and FFA And.....NOT the homework. Already found kids to sponsor for things. It is worth everything I ever gave up.

Sascha, You have read enough of our crazy debates to have a decent understanding of the nonsense behind that rule. It sounds like the only chance to get the European style 4 cyl class here would be to build a set of cookie cutter tractors. Pair up with a sled and sell rides at events. After the season put the machines up for sale. In theory class started.

I sometimes wish the sleds had a 50' rope tow to reach out and pull the 4wds back to the sled. After the 4th atempt to back you wish a few guys would hop out and guide the weightless rear back.

Local show choices from ONE person on the planning side. What I see.
Tractors
Stock; Out of hand. Big motors and who knows what safety equipment. Can't check your motor size= SPEED LIMIT. No clutch inspection=TACH MONITOR. Wheelie bars would be a good idea. I don't want to ignore the local guy that wants to play. Promoters need to band together to fix this class.

I blew a turbo intake oilseal once on a combine. It was pretty impressive what that little motor did on motor oil. All I could do was stand on the hydro and brakes and overload the machine until it stalled. As soon it was quiet I could hear the heat creaking from the cab. Motor dropped the cam a year later. Both of patches ideas have merit. Watched a Deere hang at Tallmadge. Official loaded intak
