there is one sitting in my shed that is already together needs a few polishing touches but it has made a trip down the track.

whiz, I will give that pat on the back have competed with lewis for years and have had to run hard to win, sometimes we didn't but never had any problems. I have been to his place and he to mine and I can't recall it ever being about how great either were. I have had more junk than most folks and always just pulled for fun. There is a group that forgets this is for fun, like it or not

oh cmon lewis the only thing wrong with the farm show is the 10 bucks to park and the wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy over price concessions. As for the pulling I never have been to a pull I hated but then again it could stand to be a little cheaper on the ticket for me to cram my oversized body into that undersized seat.

what cynicism, with that kind of spitula , I understand that a lot of the competitors are the same but how many other tractors for some of the classes are out there. Not a huge group to choose from in alky super or dsl super but I am certain they had to look at the limited pro and light pro apps.

okay my view was blocked by the smoke and other tractors that is bad then but there were a half dozen fire extinguishers on the wall down the center just nobody grabbed one and went that should not have happened. That explains the half dozen new ones that showed up for sunday

well I was there all wkend and it was a junk track but that was the dirt that they had to work with, apparently some of you have never been to tunica or the horse park. As for the muscle class was told by the man in charge of the track that they had to run last or it was going to be shutdown. As for the fire truck didn't see a fire to put out. I know Tom has had his moments but he did get th

firsthand it is hard to get people period much less those that know what is going on indoors, I would love to see the bobcat attachment in use but that takes at a minimum 5 operators over a 3 day pull. Maybe some thought can be done on the one piece unit but that would require some dedicated drivers. The outfit that the younts have in ky is a nice setup but takes a trip or two to get it doing wha

this could be really neat, on the exhaust side you have to install a spark plug in the pipe that way everyone knows that it has popped when the flame comes shooting out of the pipe; make for a big time addition to the smoke

pressed steel wheels cab off or canopy if not there all levers to engage pto three point all valves from side unless power shift cant take that one off, take back plate with pto off and replace that is your start. I would look into finding one that has already been stripped such as the 1030 that is sitting in my shed at 5850lbs.

My horse ain't pulling right now but if and when the harness is ready and I can get out of the barn, I would love to see some actual numbers from a dyno service not inflated or this guy said this or that but actual real time numbers. I know, I know , that is gonna be the big challenge; sure would be nice to be able to build each combination and see the actual differences.

don't have a complete mm still have a rear and a motor and some sheetmetal but no completes, would be a nice project to add to the list, like the guy with the roll back truck said the other day when he picked up one I sold "you are one of the greatest non finishers" I guess he has a point.

As for the mm if you don't want to go that route I wonder what it would take to put it back in the field not really hard work but some work. could you post a pic or maybe even the price, I don't want to make a puller just another restoration I will never get finished.

the 930 case has the same problems in the head design as the mm, the MM is fine except in the motor, it just wasn't design for big dsl performance and the case is made the same in the injection. That being said an upgrade to a newer case engine and I wouldn't run from anyone; using a lp or gas MM and I would love to work my way in a farm class.

start with the indirect injection heads on the top end and then the 4 main bottom or if you use the 585 it has a 5 main. if you are really serious I would look into the 8.3 and go that route; if you just want to play in a farm stock class you can use the moline and watch all the other guys go past.

with a gas motor maybe but with a dsl your hunting for a long difficult road to make serious power without a transplant

until they banned the v8 in the light class there was some talk from some folks about the any ag engine rule, personally I wanted to use a 350 chevy from a gleaner combine and thought that would be a lot of fun and not unreasonable to get parts and run. I don't think there are enough cubes available to run the heavy class but it sure would have been fun in the light. Before someone blows it

I am confused by the part about wanting vehicles that don't get any purse. Seems if there aren't enough to complete the slots that money isn't spent or does the association get the purse whether or not it is filled. I don't know outlaw procedure but if the class isn't full then the promoter shouldn't have to pay out for places that have no competitor. That is somethi

Having been on all sides of this, yeah the purse being paid didn't pay for much of the puller, never has for me anyway, as for the promoter well it takes several fans to pay a small purse and many sponsors and fans to pay a large one. I have made a little money and lost a little promoting. I guess if the pullers don't care about the purse and can pay for the sled and support people and
