I have a complete motor, it is out of a truck. I would sell it all but I have no idea if it will work on a tractor.

Heck there is a yellow one in the shed here that can be bought and I guarantee if you go to a pull and walk thru the pits you can find one for sale fairly easily.

Why does it need to be a rule, if you as a driver feel the necessity for such a device then by all means put one on. I have a problem with the collar, bought the longest one available and had to add velcro on for it to work. I understand the need for safety but I also remember the days before even a helmet and firesuit. Sometimes, " for the good of everyone" seems to overtake the individuals righ

I don't know of many who have had more success with that engine than Mike Savey did with the canadian mist 2, I would think the 4010 would be plenty lite for this especially with the lighter engine. The only con I can think of is the intake on that engine. With the adaptor plate from a 4030 u almost have the same tractor.

I live a long way so probably shouldn't get involved in this discussion, so I won't. ONLY one thing if you don't like how it is being done why haven't you volunteered to take the event over and show all those people who have been doing it wrong how it should be done. It never ceases to amaze me how many people that will not take the time to help have all the answers for those

From what I have seen and heard the most popular small block pro setup is close to 650 if so that would be within the ss cube limits. I fail to understand the complaint.

I never have met either of you but I have done some business with you, I can only hope that you find some peace in this time of turmoil. I hope that he enjoyed seeing the tractor restored to its previous glory. Best wishes and my thoughts and prayers for your family.

Quotenot a real tractor[quote then I guess all of those tractors made before the dsl revolution don't count. It continually amazes me how a group of people can't see the hypocrisy of there statements. I love the smoke but with certain combinations the spark plugs just make more sense. I wouldn't have a problem with dsl only but there are already tractors running in the classes that

Jake your out to lunch on this one, why should I not be able to run the stock fuel just because the majority didn't make an all out effort for gas or lp. I have a couple of deere motors that are gas from the factory maybe if I built a deere to go along with the MM your pedestal wouldn't be as high.

Rumor was that it still belonged to Martin's, I would say Klingenberg has to give up some (stuff) after the Bowling Green incident or it could be that he was just tired. When Martins had the tractor didn't it have Legend motors from indy cylinder.

I have read all this diatribe and the previos post is the only one that made the point I was waiting on. The manufacturers used to be interested, somewhere along the way the mindset changed I don't know if it was from competitors or the company but I do know that when you talk tractor pulling to a company they look at you like you fell out of a tree. The only place that seems to have compan

Why should deere try to help any puller, we are our own worst enemy, every john deere puller you see has the logo plastered on his firesuit, the hauler and most of the t-shirts that are worn. Take all that off and paint the sheetmetal gold or black or pink or any other color and eliminate the free advertising. The only deere i have ever pulled never had the factory paint unless they were original

]Man, is this really something to complain about? I was at several indoor arena and saw multi engine mods run on a 140' track with no run off area. Gordyville has plenty of room and a great BIG sandpile; I don't see the problem.
