Is there any classes that these engines could be used in. They are damn good ones in tractors.

I don't understand why all organizations don't have uniform fuel and water specs. make absolutely no sense why ntpa, ppl,Louisville, and all other organizations don't have the same stuff. The guys in question had whatever Louisville water they bought in their tractors and it didn't pass ntpa specs. Neither one of them won and then Saturday night put what was (legal) in and 1

You guys obviously have never pulled indoors and have no idea what an accomplishment hitting the sand is. It's a rush like no other. Makes the crowd go wild also. As a puller myself I have only got to the pile twice but have never won indoors but its awesome and anybody that has hit the pile and broke the front end of their tractor or truck doesn't care and can't wait to go fix

One thing no one has mentioned is the fact that the 9700 made 3 passes that day and 2 of them were in a short time and it was set on IM GOING TO WIN MODE every part in and on that engine was hotter than it would normally be since generally we only pull once a day or a week. Now I also know sometimes we have pulloffs or repulls and our machines should be built for those situations. But heat cycl

The facility is very very nice and klint and crew didn't miss a step moving anything to a completely different setting. But the atmosphere is not gordyville. The memories made in gordyville can not be repeated in shipshewanna. " I think everyone that was ever there gets what I'm saying ". All that being said doesn't matter to me where klint has the winter nationals I

I put a lot of maybes in my post on purpose. I know more people in the general public watched the show for 35 seconds and said what the hell is this and turned the channel. There also were the other few that said what the hell is this and stayed tuned in because, this is pretty cool I've never seen something like this. Let's see what happens next. And maybe just maybe some will chec

Pretty cool to be on network TV. Hopefully some new people watch that have never watched a truck and tractor pull take a look and even if they don't watch the whole show maybe still think "hey this is kind of cool I never knew this was a sport " and maybe they will research it more.

Personally I have 1 non roller sbjd hotfarm and 1 roller sbjd and to be honest if I were building a new 1 I would just put the rollers in and be done. But that being said on the performance side I can not tell a difference in either 1 of them with the same fuel and air combinations. So is it a must have the answer is no.

That's true but that's all before my time and didn't even think of those guys. Guess I'm thinking of hot farm on up weight class type tractors. But those are valid points for antique pulling.

1 thing I will point out promting components is that all manufacturers of tractors since the mid 90s have had component based tractors starting with JD 7000 series tractors. Then I believe the maxxum CIH series was next at least in our American tractors. not sure when or what brand over seas might have built before we did. ( they always seem to be the first to do these things) however all of

I don't think the LLSS should be a GN class ahead of light or limited prostock. In my opinion they don't put on a good enough show. However it is cool to see the brand difference so its not a green and red show like all other classes. but that being said still not a consistent fast show because half of the tractors most nights won't hardly leave the line. The light or limited pr

Sounds like you have a traction clutch valve body problem or the oring on the traction clutch engage piston problem ( aka throw out bearing piston)

Surface grind .100 off the very front pressure plate put 2 PTO floaters and 3 friction disks on the traction side and make it 3disks and it will hold 4 to 500 hp for awhile then you will be forced to tie the PTO side together with the traction and go on to 900 then dry it up and put a 3 speed in. But please do not turn the engine MORE THAN 3000 RPMS UNLESS YOU HAVE A STEEL SETUP whether it

Wimer fuel injection in PA are also a choice. or harts diesel in MO. Schied diesel is another they are in ILL & IN. All of these places have good products and are helpful. and for the most part pricing is very similar. So to answer your question best I would call the shop closest to you and work with them. All of them are in the builders directory section of pulloff. Good luck.

466 classes. the 8.1 head flows good for them. And it gives you a 5.06 stroke without stroking the crankshaft l. Just put 4.4 pistons in and you have 466cid

Build the 510. They will compete. But don't rush into it and SKIMP on anything inside the engine, or anywhere on the tractor for that matter. If you need to, take a couple years. This class isn't going anywhere for a while. Not a cheap class. But a good one.

Thanks Jake for commenting on my post the way you did. very well spoken. My point was made. I agree with Brian, Mgc is a very disturbed person. Our country is a mess but we WILL get through it.

Pullnfn. I get what you are saying about all of this goofy crap. Because all politicians are all for themselves. Trump didn't get where he is by doing everything by the book either. But yet he is exposing a bunch of things that are WAY out of control and had our country rolling in about every way. I too wouldn't be Trump's best friend but I do like his business mans way of doin

So if you're a Republican you voted for trump right??? But your telling us that Biden won fair and square. Doesn't make much sense to me how you think everything was done on the up and up. But everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Pullfn you are crazy in the head if you don't think the election was rigged. Was way to obvious the night of the election when magically creepy Joe got a whole bunch of votes sometime around 3am and Trump didn't get any. Get your head out of the sand. And use your brain. Creepy Joe's cabinet are all about themselves not the American people. Wake up!!!

Not any cost difference if you're buying steel sleeves and billet pistons for IH or SBJD. You can put them in without boring or stroking. That being said if you do that you can put bigger valves in the head and do quite a bit more work on it to gain airflow and the ball keeps rolling from 1 thing to another and pretty soon you will spend alot more than you planned on. But that's trac
