What are these pumps going for $$?
$5,000+ just for the pump
I’ve got quotes from 2-3 years ago for high $2,000-$3,500 just for the pump

2” isn’t going to improve it that much. I actually had a set on 22” rims and then installed on 18” rims and I had better traction and hooks. For me, I like 20.8‘s on 18”-20” rims, 22+” rims make the tires look like balloons.

Heres a thread on some options. Instead of a data logger I went ahead and ordered gauges from speedhut which makes amazing gauges and they can customize them. If they don’t show the exact gauge you need just call and ask if another gauge will work for your application. I needed 100 psi boost and exhaust pressure gauges and they didn’t have them, used oil pressure gauges and had them

I had looked into a bunch of them and came across another. One gauge, looks great, easy and affordable.
from what I was told, the android system will data log but if you use the lcd screen it won’t unless you have an android device hooked up in conjunction with the lcd. Pretty cool I thought.
Carlsson, I also was curious if it would work. Was wanting to call them to see if it would.

The way the class is we fall under the insurance of whatever event we run at. We do not run our own class insurance. Most of the places we run, we are the only class with an enforced rpm limit. Furthermore, it will not get to the point of running road gear in an 8mph class that I can assure you. I will post a copy of all rules here
The little organization I pull with is the sam

none for 10 in
Yeah your right on no 10”, would’ve thought you could’ve gotten any size a person needed. You can call msd or someone that makes them to ask if they can make you a custom one, measure it out and scribe the damper yourself or I found this website you can print you own out. Personally I think I’d call some of the manufacturers of the tapes to see if they can do a custom

Go to any search engine and put in “timing tape for a 10” harmonic balancer” and pick out where you want to buy it from. Just did and there is a plethora of options, your local parts store should be able to get it. Jegs customer is right, those two options and more will have or be able to get them!

Just sent a 5 disk there to be fixed. Thinking about updating to an 8 disk but it depends how much more $$$ it is to fix vs update. The sprag was fubar and it scared the billet big shaft some.

13:51 would be easier on the rear end/transmission. Then speed up the transmission to get your speed you want. Do your research and call around, I’m sure Karl at Atlas can point you in the right direction.

With the understanding this is moot for most modern mph classes where the speed is tracked on the sled with the air horn, for classes with an actual pace tractor, which do you think is the better rule:
A) The pace tractor takes off when the pulling tractor starts moving and moves at a consistent 4,5,6,8,10 mph (whatever the speed limit is) for the entire pull, or

Not sure on fuel yet. FVP referred me to Zips and I am calling them this week for injectors. This is a Euro tractor and pump parts are going to be limited until I figure out how to mount a 4cyl P7100 to it. I do not believe that I will ever get enough to run a S362. I have been eyeing the S300.
Ok, what style of pulling, open speed or mph?

I think maybe s257sxe 75/61, s300 60/68 with 360 bearing housing or the s362sxe 62/68, depending on the amount cc’s of fuel and how well the head flows.
How many cc’s of fuel?

I would also like to know......Nothing wrong with Karls but there are others out there that may be equally good or better at a better cost. I'm going to have a TA and the way it sounds Karls may not work with a TA, idk.
In this thread, @bc35 talked about a few different ones to obtain:
The second one bc35 talked about would be the one I'd be interested in finding, pricing and using

Would it be laggy? I’ve seen s300s on them around here but running 13mms and injectors too, It’s not a hot rod or anything I’m just looking for something to move a little more air I’m guessing it’s around 300hp, but I’ll probably end up putting a good m100 back on it, I would like a 11mm but probably have to settle with a 10 that’s maxed, I don’t want to build a full blown puller out

From the little bit I was able to find about them(I can’t find it back now where is seen them to post a picture, smh)they appear to be a very small roll pin that is cut to the length bent to the size bore you want. I’ve ran both in my hot farm tractor, we don’t make enough boost/ cylinder pressure for the c-rings to work properly like they would in a 540 light pro or 640 4.1. I get about 25 runs out of my c-rings before they really start leaking. Cost wise your $1,000 for felpro print seal headgasket and c-rings, compared to $340 for same head gasket and fire rings. Gms also makes a rubber

It’s sad that the seat belt held the driver from shutting it down in a quicker manner. I’d definitely be doing something different on the location of that kill/dump cable/button. Hopefully the block and internals are ok.
