Re: BSTP 466 questions - 2 years ago

A 510c.i. 3×3.5 slotted is making a substantial amount more h.p. than a 3x3 Smooth. With that being said. A 3x3 slotted is picking up a good amount of H.P. with the cover but are "in the range of" 100 hp ISH short of a great running Pro Pulling League 510 tractor. The " Badger" rules will run with the PPL tractors but it's at a disadvantage. Just being honest Now that we are on the subj

Re: How to get turbo under hood of 4020 - 8 years ago

7810 exauste manifold you may need a 1" or less spacer. Intake a 55 series filpped up side down should work.

Re: jake or dick ????? - 9 years ago

Dumb question Jake why do the pictures need to be in such a small format to upload??? A lot of smart phones these days you can't take a picture that small. Just a question not trying to stir the pot. Just wish I could upload pics from my phone onto the forsale page. And yes I tried everything with my phone to make it work but can't. Thanks.

Re: Triple Axle Gooseneck Trailer - 10 years ago

I think they pull much easier and ride smoother than a tandem dually I have owned both. Wouldn't give up my triple. You just can't turn very sharp with a load on its not that big of a deal. Its what you prefer.

Re: Deere exhaust manifold - 11 years ago

A 7810 manifold tilts toward the center It's just a 1" spacer. Not a wedge.

Re: Deere exhaust manifold - 11 years ago

It you use a 7810 and use a l inch spacer it will fit under the hood. I'm also using a set of billet rockers with the 8.1 valve cover. Yes it fits under a 4020 stock hood. I'm running a 3 inch charger.

Re: Boost pressures and exhaust presssures - 11 years ago

Sounds to like your spring pressure on your head isn't enough???? Is it a stock head?? If you don't have enough spring pressure Boost will just push the valve open and you Will never gain on it. Just a thought

Re: what piston is in a 8.1 - 11 years ago

Yes I just took a look at some of the pistons I had had used in the past. We used a 466 piston but we machined the top of the piston off.

Re: what piston is in a 8.1 - 11 years ago

Same bore stroke is 4.75 on a 466. On a 8.1 the stroke is just over 5 inches. If I remember right the wrist pin height is the same.

Re: what piston is in a 8.1 - 11 years ago

If you want a low ring piston use a 55 series its the same thing

Re: Rack a pinion steering - 11 years ago

It shouldnt take much more than 4-5 turns from center. Is there any air in the system???? The smaller diameter the ram the faster it should move.
