They have spent a lot on pulling as all of us have. There is one thing i have found in working with them is that they do there best to be loyal to there suppliers and spend smart money on it. Meaning you will see a lot of people just throw good money at bad and get nothing for it( no results). It’s tough in pulling to make the right decisions on what to do, who to work with, etc. They have fou

The term has its own meaning to each of us. I would consider someone trying to pass off information as if they had experience in the subject but clearly dont, a keyboard puller. Basically, someone that has just enough information to be dangerous but not enough information to accurately pass it onto others. It is a term i would not use openly on a forum since it is so easy to take things the wron

An rv must be unladen( not towing) in pa to be legal. People do it all the time but that does not make it legal. I went through this before. Also if its for cheap insurance that you want to do it that will also be a problem. If they find out via an accident that you purchased rv insurance for a truck / trailer they will do everything they can to keep from paying. Been there

Its really not an easy awnser. You can go cheap on both or spend as much as you want at any level. Been down this road several timea myself or for customers. Its basically about the same depending on what you are doing. Go with what you like because it’s expensive either way.

We were very fortunate to have a good night friday but unfortunately rained out Saturday. As for the class, the results dont show an accurate report of how it compaires. Colin had clutch setup issues and could not get it to go. Mike beck had issues also with loosing a clamp on the exhaust stage pipe and also down a cylinder. Aaron bradish is was on his first pass on a new tractor and froggy was

We are currently doing this at our shop test track at chaos fabrication in Washington pa on may 30th. We will have richard loves decision maker sled and have a morning and afternoon session of testing with 10 vehicles max each session. Currently 6-7 signed up in each. This limit is to keep distance limits in place and allow for plenty of time to test.
We are looking at the possibility of ha

I think colin will comment shortly but yes it was proved today to be a problem. We got the sled out and made a couple runs with and without the indoor pipe on. It ran the same as it did before with the outside pipes on and with just changing to the indoor pipe it would not get out of its own way the same as Friday.

Thanks guys. We have been trying every year to make things go a bit better and put on a fun day of pulling. We were able to raise over 6000.00 for the local food banks in our area. This is for us a once a year deal in October once the season slows down. I am sure we will be doing it again next fall for the 6th year as it is one of our favorite ways to get to see our pulling friends. Thanks

Here is the truth about this. Before Waynesburg we did two test runs at our shop with colin ross. Just to check out after pump issues at the last event. This year other than a cracked barrel in the pump, it needed two pistons and a sleeve. All year. Thats it. I operated the sled during testing and knew then that they would do very well. Are they all close, yes. Did they have a really good run a

I am not sure if that’s allowed or not. Would not make weight anyway. Could possibly run a heavier mod class but i think it is not encouraged to do so. Looks like PPL will be the place to go.

It was not a clarification of the rules. It was a removal of the “ use of any agricultural engine at the gn/sn level”. There was an expressed interest from 5 tractors to run the 2019 season with a 903 engine. Told that it is how it is till 2020 at this point.

It really all depends on what you want done. Lots of people do them on their own or go to a conversion company. If you have the trailer already and only need the living area done i would budget 5-20k for yourself doing it or 20k plus (guessing)to start at a conversion company. T&e, wildside, 5150( now boyds), and others. We are in the process of doing this for ourselves. It is a big project

There are several places all over the country. It all comes down to location and a place that understands your setup if you need help.
We have a 6000hp dual brake land and sea dyno at Chaos Fabrication in Washington pa. 3 miles off I70 and I79.
There are a couple things to consider when looking to go dyno. First is safety. Is it a place that is setup to test where if there is a major failure,

Typically a -6 line for feed and a -12 return is sufficient. You could tap the filter housing for a second outlet or make the one bigger and split it off to the two turbos from there

The use of any agricultural engine at the grand national level only has been in place in the rule book for a very long time. I cannot speak for pb as to when they exactly opened the door to the use of the rule( early 2000s) but i went that route myself starting in 2007 and took till bg 2009 to make it out in competition. I worked with terry to get the 903 going and he came out over a year later

What jake said is almost 100% correct. Had a plug wire off the first day with a dead cylinder. Makes for a good bit of unburnt fuel fumes. Second day at bg got things together and made a good run. Prolly the smoothest of the class. Jeff is known for jumping out of the seat at the end. He is getting a bit slower with age as we all are. There is good reason for it. He has a genuine concern for t

all depends on what the tube frame is for. An ih front half chassis would be the quickest around 8-10 weeks. Others would be starting aprox November. We habe a few complete vehicle builds going on currently and once they are complete we can do a bit more.
