Actually, ATPA came in around 1996 or 1997 and that's when the demise of NTPA Region 1 started. ATPA was a stronghold here until around 2005 when things started getting sour and for 2006 the opportunity came along to make a change to the new Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League. Payouts are good, yearend payouts are great every year and the pullers for the most part are happy. I think it was the rig

Back here in the East we had a couple good running AC's here in the 70's and early 80's. Marlin Brubaker ran a D-21 called Father's Dolly and was very tough in any class he ran here in SS. Also Dale Smoker ran either a 180 or 190 SS. Jim Brubaker ran a 180 or 190 and a D-21 also but the D-21 may have been Marlin's tractor. I know Leon Oberholtzer who currently runs a D-21

I think that was the first time I have heard you and your Father announce together. Awesome job! I also commend the Old Bulldog himself Art Downs who actually kept his "twist it's tail and turn her loose" voice all the way through the weekend though he was close to loosing it Saturday night, lol. Fantastic job by all involved. My real hero is Uncle Dick! He didn't leave early this year

Also to add to my previous post, it makes life a lot easier for those working the pits to stage vehicles in their pulling order. Makes getting them to the track in order much easier. This is very necessary when pulling indoors.

Maybe I can be of some help here. As we do at the Keystone event, we pre draw numbers very soon after we close entries for the event. The reason for doing so is that we can get these "Official" lineups in the event program. That way the fan can keep score if they desire and have an official pulling order by class in their souvenir program.

That is up to the Association that runs on Thursday morning and afternoon. They run the show there that day prior to our Opening event Thursday night. I think Brad Peters is your contact for that info. I know they have a lot of hooks in that time period on Thursday (8am - 4pm) and for them to add more might get tight time wise. I reckon the more the merrier
