This probably needs to be moved to the off topic forum. That's all I am going to say. Because no matter what I say, it won't be right.

And like I said some of these tractors are still truly farm tractors and used as such. Mandating that would eliminate over half the class. And I understand the heating cycles as well…guys aint slipping the clutch to run road gear at 8mph
They may not be slipping the clutch right now to run road gear at 8mph, but they will be in the future. What kind of insurance do you have?

I figure all of the IH 706 chassis will be used up and the tractor classes will all be component .
Probably with electric motors also. And yes I am staying on topic.

He said the region, not specifically the state. Also, we are talking about the amount of classes, not the amount of pullers in a class. That's why when I said split 85 lim pro and hot farm, it is because there are that many in each class, that they don't need to run together. Yes, I might be a little biased when I say this since it only happens at Shipshewana for

The kill switch did not break. The attaching ring was not constructed to spec, therefore illegal. Actually, when you think about it, to add insult to injury, the run should have been been a disqualification.

Sarcastically saying that Quaker State is the best. lol. Seriously saying that the brands really don't matter as long as you take care of the oil that you run and have a good filtering system. I run Cenpeco 60 weight. Pre heat it before every run. After 3 to 4 runs, it is drained, screened and boiled. When I do that, new oil is put in. After 3 to 4 runs on that, put the boiled oil back in. just my opinion fellas. taking a good class that’s all about driving and making it about money. as it stands now there are let’s say guessing 26-2700 horsepower tractors out there that can eat a 3000 horsepower for lunch. getting a tractor to hook and hold together is a challenge and shows skill. that made the class intriguing to

I proposed the idea of 315 cubic inch twin 3x4 turbos on original spark ignition engines. Thinking it would work, but certainly not a "hill I'm going to die on."

Sure was. I won't say who because my memory may be foggy and I not only don't want to falsely implicate anyone, I am further uncertain any wrong-doing was proven. It was quite a while ago.

I know who it was. And no wrong doing was proven. The tractor that was built was a stock "composite" tractor and it was not allowed to compete after the component rule came into pla

We use a Kubota 500 RTV. Our tractor weighs 6000 to 6500 lbs. but we have pulled 2 to the line with it before on a hard surface. We don't break any speed record doing that but it will work. If you farm, no matter what you get if you don't already have one of some sort you will use that thing for MANY uses. Best thing we ever did and have been thinking about adding one. Top speed on ours

I'd say that with the turbo that are running and the fact you are 3000 rpms, I'd say that you are in the ballpark. Just my opinion.
I would agree with that depending on what kind of camshaft he has.

We've run 50w,60w and now 70w. We have 2 extra on mains for clearance and 1 extra on the rods for clearance. We've tried more clearance didn't help. Yes we have oil heaters and we've run it with cold oil and warm oil still issues. We have done everything know to man with different filter setups and micron filters. My question is mostly related to brands of oils

Personally I don't think there should be closed pits at any event. You can go to the largest pull in the world (Bowling Green) and wander around in the pits. You should be able to wander around in the pits at EVERY event. If BG can do it I'm sure every regional/state/brush pull can manage to do the same. Part of the appeal of the sport to me when I was a kid was bei

A cast rear end tractor isn't a LSS.
They are actually known as a fat tire supertique.
The only groups to have that specific class is the Outlaws, and the NATPA. (Division 5).
Cast reat tractors are allowed in NTPA and PPL. But they don't build a little pond for them.
Hey now wait a minute. lol

Since your local association does not have that class who is going to insure that c
