I took about 2 seconds for the question I asked to get turned into a "how rodeos do it better" and "we need sponsorship money". I was trying to ask a serious question. So I am going to try this again.
. So my question is, if someone is to host an event, what should the payout be for each class(Pro, Limited Pro, Limited Pro Diesel Trucks, Hotfarm, LLSS, Antique, Garden Tracto

A cast rear end tractor isn't a LSS.
They are actually known as a fat tire supertique.
The only groups to have that specific class is the Outlaws, and the NATPA. (Division 5).
Cast reat tractors are allowed in NTPA and PPL. But they don't build a little pond for them.
Hey now wait a minute. lol

I am located in east central Illinois by 74 and Indiana state line. Our local association Iliana tractor pullers does not have a 4.1 class. To help them gain traction with this I’d like to do a large cash prize winner take all mid August for $4k. How many limited pros would be interested in this.
Since your local association does not have that class who is going to insure that c

Pulling for money???
People don’t like pulling when most people go home with no money. Most people have a long drive for only 1 vehicle to go home with money…winner take all is a terrible purse/payout format. Go out and get more sponsorship money and maybe charge $1-$2 more for admission to bump up payouts throughout the field.
Since you are not registered I can't give you

If you’re familiar with the NTPA rulebook, drawings of your chassis have to be submitted to tech. One of those rules that is in there but given very little if any teeth. .
Amen on that!!!!! Drawings must be submitted. Materials that you make the chassis out of don't have to be.

I am unsure if it is a true component or not, but it doesn't have outboard planetaries if it is. Red Line Fever, Diggin' Fever and those running the Doc rearend have inboard planetaries as well. I do agree with OH1979er that I have seen numerous outboard planetaries blow and the tire stays on.

As a fan who has taken in shows from all 3 organizations here, I want to comment on the Outlaws mod thing. With the exception of maybe a super national unlimited pull where the really big boys come out, I MUCH prefer watching an Outlaws mod class for the variety. Another fantastic mod class to watch is the ITPA light mods. I'd take watching turbines vs allisions vs automotive an

It's not what it was 20 years ago but that's just a result of Illinois itself not the ITPA. Hard for anyone to book pulls when there is no money.

Apparently, Supertiquer and HP do not consider NTPA LLSS rules to be "national" rules.
When people use the word "national" in this discussion, they're typically meaning something closer to the word "unified."
Not one organization running 6,000 pounds, another running 6,250, and yet another running 6,500 pounds...
Thank you John. Very well said. The weight is the

It may be a tough truck contest or country music, this is the entertainment industry, piss off a promoter and they will find something else.
Yes they will but will the truck and tractor pulling fans be there for tough truck contest or the country music show? And how much will those 2 shows cost the promoter?

Promoter (to sled operator) "I want you to let the first puller in a class of 6 go 400 feet. Then, we'll reset the sled."
Sled Operator: "Sounds good. Will do."
If promoters try to dictate the actual on-track performance in any sanctioned class, that shows a lack of integrity for the promoter, and if the sanctioning body acquieses, that is a lack of integrity

I agree with that. Many pullers don't but I do. Floating finish has really screwed things up in pulling along with the arrogance of many pullers. I won't forget a pro stock puller from my state complaining about the fans got to see him run twice for the same amount of money years ago. smh

Also get the bearing cages that hold your differential in place made out of billet aluminum. After you get the steel differential made, that will be your next weakest point. Believe me, I learned that hard way.

Having done similar to a 666, I would recommend figuring out what overall ratio you need to run, stick with the slow ring and pinion and speed up the trans, it will be easier on the ring and pinion.
Install a good input shaft so you can change the constant mesh easily and pick three gears to replace 2, 3 and 4 with, needle the diff and you’ll have a pretty stout setup that has 3
