I put them on both of our modifieds and still have someone off to the side of me directing me back. I use the camera to see how close I am to the sled while glancing back and forth. I can back to the sled with more confidence and faster when I know where it is.

Hard to enforce face shields left open. I've tried to close mine only to be opening it half track with it fogged over not knowing where I'm at. Even leaving it cracked open it'll fog glasses over.

I really hope the light mod class continues. We was planning on stepping into it next season but with parts availability we are thinking about 2025 now. All I have left to do on the tractor is put a stack box on and get a engine put together.

I've never noticed the crowd when I'm hooked to the sled. Don't even care what's on the other side of the white lines lol

The Light modified class should have decent numbers. I'm shocked Tomah didn't get that class. We're going to hold up a year and see if it hits the ground running before we put a second engine on ours. Our plans are to make a couple Light modified hooks in 2024.

We're using Brad Penn Nitro 70 in a Allison and Cenpeco 60wt in a hemi. I like the Brad Penn better but the Cenpeco is easier to get in a pinch since we're really close to Walcott IA.

We've been using a 900 Polaris ranger to pull around 6500lb Modified tractors and it beats the hell out of it. I've been thinking about a 2014-2017 Jeep compass to use instead. It would be road legal so if some friends were going to the pull they could drive it there or it's small enough to get it in the trailer with both tractors.

That class got changed to Light modified. You'll see more than 5 in the class. We was planning on changing one of our tractors over this winter to run in it but with the cost and parts Availability of everything we're going to wait till 2024.

We have a couple single engine modifieds. The Hemi runs around 7200-8600 depending on what gear and the Allison is around 3800 rpm.

We use a 900 Polaris and it struggles big time pulling around a 6500lb light modified. We have 2 tractors and it won't even begin to pull both of them together. We tried hooking a 1000 ranger on it and it still has its hands full.

How are they going to work the rules for both organizations? ITPA has a 5600 lb weight for Allison's and Nebraska bush is 6,000. And the Supercharger ratio for ITPA is 8.1 and 8.8 for Nebraska bush. We won't have ours ready to go in time but hoping to bring ours next year if they have it again.

Looking into adding a second modified to our stable. A triple turbo charged 903 Cummins on Diesel has sparked our interest. How are the guys that run Cummins engines in Semi pullers injecting the fuel in to them? They have the rocker arm actuated injectors from the PT pump. Would the PT pump feed enough fuel to put out 4000+ hp? Or are those guys building heads and putting on inline injection pum

6000 is the right weight. They just needed to drop off the unlimited part and make it a light modified class. That class would have taken off with the rules as single hemi, twin Chevy, single Allison, one or 2 turbines depending on the size. My single engine with a Allison weighs more than 5200 without the driver lol
