Re: The ATPA launches the American Muscle Tractor Alliance - 5 months ago

But the sad thing is there will be pullers go pull with him, no matter how many more people he screws over.

Re: Chapel Hill Full Pull replay access? - 11 months ago

Not able to view it or any of the Rock Valley pulls, and can not open up my subscription on computer because I subscribed through Roku, log out of Roku and still can’t. Shows I paid for 2 subscriptions on June 7th I hope one was July 7th, had to reset password last night, and I had original written down. And then this morning would not take info to log in that I reset last night. And now says not

Re: Full Pull APP questions - 1 year ago

I have had fun all season, but a few glitches, or I think they are, on the app, when you sign in, why do you have to fill out the complete registration form for every pick you make, if you are signed in, it should have all that info.

Re: Pro Stock Controversy - 2 years ago

I around for a long time, and if I personally were able I would have a pulling vehicle. But can’t afford it, or would rather not throw it away. I have helped a 2WD/Modified team, and enjoyed it, but with 40-50 hour job, my time got thin, so I stepped away, went to tech school for the 2022 season, but unforeseen circumstances kept me at home all year, and would always offer a hand to any team

Re: Season opening NTPA GN pull cancelled due to rainout (it's still one week away) - 3 years ago

And last year it was a mess also, I can see it not being useable after the rain they have gotten recently.

Re: Component - 3 years ago

We do have a couple 410 inter cooled down here now, component in my opinion will ruin the class for a time. Probably do same as LSS did when they went component, numbers really dwindled for several years. Going component takes the character out of the class, the parts for your chosen Brand, you have to learn how to make them work. If its not broke don’t fix it, every organization that runs this c

Re: CPR BETTER LOOK AGAIN - 3 years ago

Another thing you all are not looking at is, 4.1 class is 4.1 intake inlet, the light pro class is 4.5 exhaust, inlet is wide open, and after this class being around for a few years, do you think maybe the manufacturers are developing 4.5 exhaust wheel to push bigger and bigger intake wheels, or at least those possibilities are there, so that equals more boost. Which in turn makes more cylinder p

Re: Anderson Farms & Trucking - 3 years ago

I think not 100% but think some rule books it is worded “inline engines” which includes 4 cylinders, but not many 4 cylinders at the level that need cable, and a V-8 design is proven to come apart different, and cable on v-8 would or could cause danger to driver.

Re: NTPA SUPER NATIONALS - 3 years ago

I do not know actual numbers but I am pretty sure they do have, plus some of the others have multi year contracts, have heard that somewhere.

Re: Grow the sport gambling - 3 years ago

I had actually thought about this, but in pulling it would be tough to set up a site to bet, when it is tough to know who is going to go where. May work on winter invitational pulls.

Re: NFMS - 3 years ago

Man not this again, even though I agree with you a lot on this class, NTPA picks it up as a Regional National class, and rumors of PPL running it a little more than just Mid-South, that is as far as it needs to go. And I would Love to see it ran at NFMS, at least 5 years of consistent Regional National and PPL hooks and every organization leave the rules alone for that long and maybe the class wi

Re: How would you build a Mod? - 3 years ago

Personally, I would buy components from supplier I felt had best products, and then build my own chassis, put my own engines together, and yes would be mod, mod rules will roll over from organization to the other, Go run where and when I wanted, no name on any kind of list ever. 3 engine combo at this time would be my choice and Mitas tires,

Re: Curious question - As a kid, how many of you went to pulls with your dad? - 4 years ago

Always with Dad as a kid, while he pulled, pulled my first time at Nelson County Fair around the age of 11 or 12. And pulled Mini for first time at 15 but always with Dad..

Re: Live Streaming - 4 years ago

I agree 100% I only have a few dislikes but this is with most all of Live Streaming of Truck and Tractor Pulls, guess because I have done a few and/or posted to internet radio, I liked PPL’s rendition last night with Leroy commentating and interviewing a few people, but it is not hard to pipe the tracks audio into a live stream, then put Leroy on mic with Dan Mayer and in my opinion that would ma

Re: When and where was the first TWD class? - 5 years ago

I would almost have to say it started in KY, somewhere between Georgetown and Warsaw or even maybe Vevay, Indiana. But not sure on year, 1980ish is close, but remember the modified 2wd ran several years before that, the naturally aspirated ones that is.

Re: Pulling in Indiana (Governor just outlined reopening) - 5 years ago

I found this, maybe not fact or maybe it is but this is copied from another page. Read on F.B Truck Pulling Madness that all fairs have been cancelled is Mo.? There goes pulling in that state....more 'sheep' will follow now.

Re: Pulling in Indiana (Governor just outlined reopening) - 5 years ago

County fairs in KY cancelled a week ago, I believe if my research is correct that was before any cancellation in NY, but late yesterday afternoon if story is correct, all of Missouri county and the State Fair cancelled for 2020.

Re: NTPA needs to control their product - 5 years ago

If NTPA and PPL did a joint Championship at end of season then that would be great for pulling and would be Super Bowl of pulling, if both organizations had same class structure and took top 10 from both and then you would really know who was the best

Re: NTPA needs to control their product - 5 years ago

Dick, I agree with you, some but also disagree. That pay is great, but this type pull pops up say 4 a year, at this time promoters can not afford that price and neither can organizations, so pullers start going more with money, in which I do not blame them, but it hurts organizations, and that hurts the sport.

Re: What is the #1 problem in pulling? - 5 years ago

I have been reading the posts on “What is wrong with Pulling” and that has changed into what can we do to help. 5 years ago when I started in the Media for the pulling world, most everyone was let’s make the pullers the Rock Stars, and everyone in media done a really great job at that, and I still think that will help, but not all that needs to be done. I feel that we need to keep inc

Re: Screw blowers - 5 years ago

I have mixed feelings on this, Love to see them run, but deep down I feel they should be only in the Heavy Unlimited class. The Light Unlimited is a great class, and love to see the power of the Screw Blower Tractors. But with the cost of the Screws I feel are going to hurt the class. Yes, it is called unlimited, but it is perfect class to use to grow the mod classes, running 3 engines was taken
