I have no idea on the conditions of Schaendorfs or Blagraves, but on a 245' track if you bounce or have to hit any brake 10-20' could get chopped pretty fast.
And coming back sometimes motor setups react differently to the heat.
Is that the case here I have no idea, but on a short track things get exaggerated really quick if things arent perfect.

DSS turbos cost less than the single turbo classes now. With the rules the way they are you can get some nice holsets built your way for reasonable money compared to what turbos cost in other classes.
And if you would limit the boost to the numbers you are suggesting I am betting the winners would be all single turbo tractors that are set up with the latest and greatest.

Agree with Builder. The 7000 20-50 is good both alky and diesel pulling motors. Put your motor together and run it through some heat cycles and go pull.
There are many theories on getting rings to seat. Go with what you trust. And with tractor pulling what really is break in? Heck if you are like us you might only have time to get it warm check for leaks and you are heading down the

We are a dealer and run it in our DSS. After tear down this fall the bearings looked like they were just put in. In my opinion one of the best oils you can use.

I think the issue arising is that light pro and limited pro are taking off. A lot of superfarm pullers are jumping into those classes. And in a lot of areas 466 classes are really picking up steam.
Now for an organization the Superfarm name is an easy sell still to a promoter because it always has been that stable numbers class that blows smoke and fans and promoters like that.

It's a bit deceiving, most of what I listed was never ran on Chance Encounter. Most is stuff we acquired while building the new one and finally decided to get some of it moved on to someone who will use it. We plan on trying to get a little more out of her, always room for improvement.

shim the heck out of the relief valve so it doesnt dump any oil there at all. Then use your external pump to regulate if that is an option for you.

To me the only real fail safe is to have the light come on with the water.
I know chances are really low to lose all 12 v power at the time you are lighting it making your light go out, and thats the one time your water doesnt come on. But you can loose all 12 v power the other way and or have light go bad and it doesnt come on and you error to the safe side assuming water didn't come

They may work, but its the question we all face when putting this stuff together. What will cost more? a ring failing after assembly and buying one new sleeve and piston or and new set of rings now?
I have seen some worn looking parts make run after run, usually not my luck when I try it.

How do you feed the water pump? Where is tank located in comparison to the pump?
These pumps can cavitate if it's expected to rely on the pump for suction or if the pump is over rpm threshold. You should be good at 3000 rpms at 1:1.
Could you have a supply issue to the pump where it runs out of volume dropping your pressure at times until it catches up?
One way to test if its a v

If you havent been to this pull its a great pull with that small town feel, and a track that takes some serious ponies.
Can't wait to be back. I know one thing, this yr back I won't be awoke at dawn with "my water broke" phone call. i didn't think 2 tractors could get tied down that fast.
