I am pretty sure the way work is lining up it looks like Wisner for us.
Bone Twister group I believe is heading to the BG.
Also if things line up there may be 2 other region DSS coming to Wisner. Will know more after this weekend.

You guys realize Becker didn't even pull there?????? I personally think he had a very good reason why he couldn't hook. No one would have liked to hook there more him, yet things come up, things happen. There were enough DSS there for a second yr pull. Hell a GN champion was there, that in itself is probably worth more than if I brought 3 tractors. And it rained out essentially

It really doesn't matter what another builder thinks. You entered into an agreement with this builder.
You and the other party have to decide if you can continue as is or can part ways in a civil manner and move on.
If you feel the agreement you entered with that party is not being held up on their end convey that message to them.
Find out your options with them and move forward e

Tomah, Wadena, Rockwell, RV, Hinton, Sibley, Monticello, Dubuque, Sac City and Fort Dodge is the plan through end of July.
Hope the tractor cooperates and we get the full schedule in. We are pretty blessed to have some good friends, fans, and competition in both Outlaw and NTPA.

I would say do pulloffs for BG and Tomah in the DSS and the float the rest.
Outlaws have floated it for years and Region is doing it. It works and pullers like hooking only once. Especially on a friday/sat hook venues, it keeps more iron on the track for both nights.
We choose to do around 15 passes a year. One because of time we can be away, and two, it's enough work to do tha

We have always used Stanadyne pretty liberally. Never had pump or injector issues and always passed the fuel tests.
Any good performance diesel lube should work just look for compatibility with any performance fuels or biodiesel, and be aware of any added cetane. I am sure there is a point it would fail a fuel test.

I agree it seemed a little loose on clearances for application as well. Not that it cant work but maybe not needed in your scenario of rpms and boost your are running.
We run higher than that on oil pressure as well and never washed bearings. So I highly doubt that is your issue.
Have you tried coated bearings or are these clevites coated already?
And when you give clearances di

Sounds like they found it in a heated shed on the trail of some other stolen items. Don't know much more yet.

We have wulff pumps and VGM drive. It works well.
We run simpson water off of one pulley and a 2 chamber engine oil pump and another 2 chamber oil/fuel pump off the same pulley other side.
Ours is on an IH and one thing to note with the wulff oil pump we had to use the same size pulley as the water to slow it down to keep pressure in an adjustable range.
That put us in the 1120 size

In theory air pockets in your water cooling system cause cracks. If you get any air in your water system the air pockets will allow areas to heat faster then cool (relatively speaking) once the water hits it. Pumps have to drive the system and the plumbing and radiators take up space. This is the theory anyway.
If you go to billet heads there is no need for water. Cast filled heads se

Go for it, just get your clearances correct. Talk to someone doing the same that knows what works. Things to consider are skirt clearance, ring gap, valve guide clearance, piston coating and run as much oil in your sump as possible.
We would never go back.

We have talked about Rock Valley to the NTPA guys. I think Barfnecht has shown interest in coming. It's definitely a hook to go to if one has never been before.
Sometimes it comes down to when you run region points or any points circuit, a weekend off is needed to handle family things, farm things, work things, tractor maintenance to keep going for the points. Also some guys have th

New horse will be out, was just up there Saturday. Tractor looks great, just putting on finishing touches with computer and odds and ends things.
Will pull Region and some Outlaw if all goes well. Ellsworth is the plan to debut her as they have the light pro too, so the old horse can come play as well.

We have run Brad Penn and Schaeffers, both have done well. When we tear down bearings look great. We have defaulted to Schaeffers because of higher zinc content and the moly in their product.
Any of the big dogs should work if your clearances, balances, and pressures are correct for your motor set up.
Also the bigger heat sink (volume of oil in your pan or lube system) will do wonder

If you were at the original Outlaw meeting when they made the 6200 lb unlimited class, you knew that day it would turn into a 504 push rod class. That was the original intent when they started the class and included everyone at the time with the understanding motor rules would be looked at again and voted on.
I agree you hate to see anyone left out, but anyone paying attention that day to wh

I was under the impression the DQ was made because of extra people in the HOT area unathorized. They weren't happy with the sand issue but didn't DQ because of that. And yes it would be easier to follow along as a fan and kill any rumors by announcing any rulings. Just like any motor sport you watch, they tell you if there has been an infraction and what the penalties will be.
