The fulcrum is further back this making it harder to consistently carry the front on different tracks. I’ve had a 2 charger 180 LSS for a long time. I have several journals to prove my point dating back to 1980.

Traditionally the 180 is a hard tractor to balance properly. It is disproportionate as far as a heavy front end and a lite weight rear end. Unlike a IH of the same era they tend to be lighter up front. All I’m saying is the fulcrum is different on the allis.

A prime example of that is the 180 allis.

We own two companies that sell hunting products around the world. All of our trade shows were canceled in 20 and half or more of 2021 are canceled including the Shot show in Vegas. The tractor pull is a side line to the show. The show needs vendors and in order to get the vendors they need visitors. I find it hard to believe that this is even a discussion. I would of expected them to cancel at t

I’ve had both alcohol and diesel tractors. Hands down the alcohol is easier to build, run, and maintain. I feel you get better performance from diesel simply because alcohol can very to tune and it can be hard to be consistent. It all comes down to preference but without a doubt the longest lasting, coolest running, and least expensive is alcohol motor.

Not to get off topic but do you think farm show is in jeopardy? I have never been to Bowling Green being a WI guy Tomah was the hot ticket for me. I was planning to run GN LSS this year and finally get there. So LSS has two other hooks and SSO only had Bowling Green isn’t that correct? I feel the should pull the plug and go on damage control. Hopefully farm show isn’t cancelled and plan for 2021

Don’t get me wrong I own and have full intentions to run a LLSS as a LSS on the NTPA Grand National. I fully think we should have a grand national class. I have the original Orange Crush 180 this is its 40th anniversary year.

You will need 175,000 to build a llss, it’s the natural progression of this doomed sport. Hard limits need to be set and rules need to be enforced to limit the progress. We literally need to stop advancing to save this sport. The spending money to be better than the next guy needs to stop or it will die
