I have an engraved aftermarket cam, V375F212/375F232-6. Assuming the-6 is referring to the timing of the cam, before or after tdc, what are the specifics of the other information? Thanks much for any assistance.

Was coming out of tractor supply when I snapped this pic in lower Nebraska. Had just added an ih 466 long block, and 20.8 23 degree stones to my load, earlier purchases were a haslag hitch and a 3 sp trans with 1.5 width gears. This trip was 800 miles one way, but being retired, I prefer to pickup stuff in person. I had blown a truck tire the night before when I drove over a rebar stud that was

In December I ordered a 25+5 corn pro gooseneck trailer, with 8k axles and 16 ply 215/17.5 tires. My pull vehicle is a 2011 6.0 2500hd 4x4 GMC. The overall length of these items exceeds 50 ft. The trailer has performed flawlessly, the driver, not so much. My loads are usually 10k to 12k tractors, my first trip to New York I picked up a 5020 in the snow, front loaded the trailer, with the rear axl

Does anyone have any recommendations on pump builders that are still working on the model 100 pumps? Seems like the pumps are falling out of favor with some builders due to being labor intensive--or other reasons. My current Model 100 13mm is rated at 350cc, should I put a feeder pump on to pressurize the fuel prior to delivery to the injection pump? Thanks in advance for any assistance/recommen

Luke Miller of 300+ performance in Arthur, IL works on all makes, but his original tractor was a mf 1155 that was a strong runner. Batliners of Batliners Impliment of Floyd Knobs, IN @ 812-923-3155 has over 30 years of pulling 2 1150's, and a 1155 from 9500 lbs to 13500. Their tractors are near show quality in appearance and run at or near road gear in competition.

Any 6030 9300 super farm puller can tell you of the issues to get weight out of a 5020/6030---first 2000 lbs is easy---not so much after that!!! Bill Williams 5010 3 turbo super stock weighed 7700 to 7800 on alum rims and 30.5's BFGs. When viewed up close, it was exceptionally simple in build, and its profile was more like a 2940 on steroids, that a bbjd. Drussel (spell?) did the alum weigh

I saw the unit at their shop at least 6 yrs ago maybe, longer, when purchasing a motor from them---looked long in the tooth, but complete--I believe it was near 6000 lbs bare, but the rear and trans were large housings---as John Paul's dad, Paul Yates, owned Bosey Keys Red Warrior out of Texas, and additionally pulled nationally on the early ATPA circuits, their owning part(s) of the Red Bar

not complaining, but the majority of pullers that i know with 900 hp hot farms are lobbying for rules consolidation, and the resulting increase of hooks and purse opprtunities---I attended a similiar meeting, 10 years ago, when Paul and PPL tried to organize the same class. Don Christiani attended, as a mediator/advisor, for the 8 to 10 pullers who attended at his facility. Unless they have

Change the proposed rules to 10,000lbs, and uncut tires, and the participants will meet the rules of BOB and ORVTPA 10000 hot farm classes, and add as many as 20 hooks a year available within 2 hours of Lousiville. BOB has a 12000 open farm, any cubes, 3000 rpm, p pump 3x3 charger, (basically a 3000rpm super farm class) and big cubes tractors can play with Jon's 5 6030's---that's

310 IH diesel engine has some discussion history on tymag.com, a thrifty engine on fuel, expensi ve to work on---cross flow head with individual ports, but doubtful the base head will flow with the IH 300 series (312, 360) or truck heads. RPMs, for the majority of the class, once under way, run 4400 to 5000 on a good track, some tractors, Sipes Family Tradition, Dibbles Itty Bitty Binder, may we

I don't think you can make that head flow any significant numbers. Ole George, if I remember correct, spoke to the boys that have a 318 super stock massey in England(?) Nipper, and they run billet rods, three chargers and were around 1300hp plus---but lots of machine work, maybe a billet head. I like the idea of a 4 cylinder diesel llss, but the Genesis 304 ford in a 5000 chassis would be s

By comparison, within the last year, two quality super farms, Bankrupt Binder and Fat Bottom Girl JD, could have been bought, with enough left to buy a new 32 hydraulic tailed Load-Max trailer and fuel to pick the tractor up, for $75000. Barry has extensive dyno experience, and I think most dyno operators agree, max hp and torque available from any specific engine, occur at different timing settings on the camshaft. The truck folks have retarted timing at the line for years to hook to the track better. But having the ability to adjust your motor, on the go, to a touch track (dialing in more torque, if your rpm drops), or dialing
