did you ever see schulers haul there 4010 in the bed of that dump truck,i think the axles would notr go into the dump bed so tractor sat on the tailgate,or partially on it,then the 4320 wasa on a trailer...i heard saxonburgh moved thier track.im pretty sure al juethers grandson can answer that for sure,i imagine he has some video too...the big butler fair could be a serious dust bowl with the minby patches - Forum
Re: Old pulling videos - 12 years ago
the first one sure looks like saxonburgh, when we ust to pull just outside of town..the second is at the big butler fair,i remember that pull like it was yesdterday,i broke a rear hub there.the tri county pullers ran minirods between us and a small wall, they ran on the racetrack.and if i recall jj havel got his semi stuck in the infield...oh those were the daysby patches - Forum
Re: Do you know what it takes to make a Super stock tractor? - 12 years ago
going by "common rules" the case would only be permitted to hook in the ss class..the jd-b can hook in ab out anything from open antique to open super, but it cannot hook in any rtegional or national classes except open super due to the use of the spark ignition based fuel..the 66 can hook in about anything that it will make wt for..the 4020 is a brush puller, due to the cuin limits, but if nothingby patches - Forum

i can remember being at jacktown one of the years of the 3000 rpm limit,it was when dambachs were pretty hot with thier 190.during that summer i think a few of the guys were thinkin a 560 was turnin a little to much, and someone showed up with a tattle tale tach and some c-clamps.it was clamped on the 560 and it run like crap, some words were said to the effect of,this ... thing is messin up my eleby patches - Forum
Re: Old pulling videos - 12 years ago
hey thanks, that sounds like the few years that the 3000 rpm limit was tried.if im remembering right that lasted about 2 years then got the boot.there was a open rpm limit then the 3000 then back to open.i still think if the head rule would have been scratched out that the class would still be pulling in some fashion...hate to bug ya but got any from the open rpm years.btw when did you guys quit cby patches - Forum
Re: CASE 1030 Perfromance - 12 years ago
the 504 is pretty much a bolt in.the most visual things are the manifolds, being since the design is of a crossflow head.the fual pump is on the other side too,and the block needs drilled for the steering shaft to go through.probably 99% of the case diesels pulling are based on the 451 or 504 engine family, nomatter what series the sheetmetal is...by patches - Forum

dyno pullin,is it possible??? - 12 years ago
as you can tell from my avatar my son ands i campaign a garden tractor,a prostock.off the top of my head i cannot think of any reputable engine builder that does not dyno tune each and every motor that goes out thier door.i know and understand that this is alot simpler and easier for our scale of pulling.i am also a very big gearhead like most of you are,and most of us are into the engine world, aby patches - Forum

ofb,im with you on this class.personally i think the unlimited is ho hum,yea theres lots of power and noise, but they dont pull the sled any farther than any other class does.to me the unl class is ok to watch, but i think the unpredictability of a light class would be far easier to be interested in.like you stated the wild rides and who knows what to expect is exciting to b e a fan of.i can see thby patches - Forum

Re: Sounds Boring... Really??? - 12 years ago
i think this class will be good to watch.to me the mod class and unlimited are to close together.id vote anyday for the 6000 and unlimited, and only those two.look at the 6000ss,when that was gettin started it was the talk of the boards for two years, and i think because it was different.how can the 6000 mod not be a shot in the arm for the mod division.personally i think it was a big mistake doingby patches - Forum
