I did reach out to them on Facebook the last week of January. If anyone has the opportunity to speak with them at the NFMS, if you would kindly let them know a local gentleman has reached out to them via Facebook, I would appreciate it. I know this may be an odd request, so please forgive me. Thank you.

By chance would anyone happen to know the best/appropriate manner in which to get a hold of the Dirtslinger Modified team? Thank you for your time.

If memory serves me correctly, I had heard some rumors Andy went to alcohol. Not sure the accuracy of that as I don't know for sure. His smoker sure was fun to see run for sure.

8 years ago I walked away from a dealership job that I loved because I couldn't make it on my small salary and incentive bonuses. A year or two after having left and went to go work in town, the dealership couldn't keep machinery on the lot. It was that way for a number of years. But here we find ourselves once again on the bottom, or close to bottom, of the cycle that has been in th

I too want to thank "Henry" for another great show. I greatly appreciated the weather communication on here from Jerry, which allowed us to properly plan and get our journey started. I fully understand honoring a person as I have numerous law enforcement and fire protection individuals in my family. With that being said, I believe it was close to 45 minutes after the start of the program bef

Jerry, I know there is a lot of time between now and when the pull starts, but if you would be so kind as to give us an update later on today like you have done in years past, it would be greatly appreciated. We have had lots of rain all night further south of you all and still this morning. Just trying to plan appropriately for travels. Thank you once again and hope we get to be there.

That is good background information to know. Being a team player will pay off in the end. It would be neat to bring back the semis again. Didn't know the mini-rods were part of the silver series as hadn't kept up with anything other than the champions tour. Thank you again and we will be there.

A.P., Am I interpretting the article correctly? It appears Deere's main issue is with the picture showing the Kinze repower kit, thus showing the "public" Deere made a good product but someone else made it better? But the all important question remains...if the same tractor shown with the original Deere engine, would Deere have put up a fuss?

I realize this thread is old, but I came across an article in the Feb edition of Progressive Farmer that spoke volumes to me. We have simply allowed those who are afar off to teach the American public about the agriculture industry, and everything within it including truck and tractor pulling. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. And if not, please pardon my passion for education and exposure.

I have to agree with you, 620 or 630 sheet metal on an LLSS would you really cool. It would go right along with the alky Super MTA sheet metal of the tractor that pulls in mid-south if memory serves me correctly.

Please do not consider this request too conservative, but I do have to ask a favor of all who post on their pages and then request or allow others to view them. To add something to this post from Oliver1655, and I serious hate to even mention this because of the reactions from some, but how is NHRA, Monster Jam, NASCAR, NFL, or MLB able to put on such productions? One sanctioning body. There is power in numbers. Many of us can take a glimpse in the not too far past and see what happened in Indy Car racing. How can we get TV productions of 30-50 pulls

CRH, I do understand your point. Pulling is probably more closely related to NHRA racing than anything, not only because of the short sprint to the end of the track, but because it truly is a driver's sport. One simply happens to be on pavement and the other on dirt. But wow, ESPN can make an entire show about a weekend drag racing event, and they have for many years. With drag racing an

I apologize for the lengthy response, but this is my passion, agriculture education as in educating others about the greatest industry in America, to which truck and tractor pulling belongs. In reference to this particular dilemma, I think we often times think to close when we need to be thinking bigger.

I was always taught the ag industry is on a 7-year swing. Interestingly enough, 7 years ago, I had to get out of the ag industry as a service provider because I was unable to put food on the table for my family, on a very meager budget mind you. My family was classified as living in poverty by the gov't but we didn't receive any financial assistance. Why? Pride and yet we still knew

I undertsand completely abotu the brakes. Not knowing how it would affect the pulling vehicle or sled, that is why I mentioned it may be from outer space. But I do appreciate the education and certainly understand why that would not be a good idea. Unfortunately, there is never only one cause or scenario why you would have to have an emergency reaction. Thanks again.

I perfectly realize this very well may be a thought from outer space and I apologize if it seems so. With modern technology, would it be feasible and/or possible to have the brakes on the pulling vehicle activated any time a properly hooked up kill switch is activated, thus at the very minimum slowing the wheel speed of the pulling vehicle? I am just thinking about the scenario of when an vehic
