Need Info. The AMSOIL Dominator would work great in your application. We use the RD60 straight 60 weight in Hurricane Allis but I have other pro stock customers that use the Dominator RD50 15W-50 and love it as well. I have attached the data sheet for the Dominator Racing Oils for your reference. Feel free to contact me with any questions at 913-433-4826.
Thanks, Todd

truck guy,
We have used AMSOIL Dominator RD60, 60 weight synthetic racing oil in our pro stock tractor Hurricane Allis for three seasons now. The previous two seasons we used AMSOIL AHR 60 weight racing oil (before RD60 was introduced). Our parts have lasted much longer and show much less wear since we switched to AMSOIL in 2010. It is also amazing how clean (none of the "snot" inside valve

Craig,
Travis and I attended this Show-me Showdown event as spectators which took place in the mid-'90s. We watched LD make his run, make a full pull, and throw a rod in the process. There were approximately 45 TWDs in the class that day and LD was an early hook. I remember PC or Doc announcing that LD had a spare motor and he was going to attempt to swap it before a pulloff. 6 cylinder puller,
Send me your make and model number of the tractor you are looking for rear end and transmission oil and I will help you with an AMSOIL synthetic oil recommendation. If the AMSOIL 75W90 EP Gear Oil is the recommended oil for your application you will be amazed at the cold flow properties it possesses.
We use the AMSOIL 75W90 (SVG) in the transmission (Pro-Fab) and rear-en

AMSOIL offers a Diesel Concentrate (http://www.amsoil.com/lit/databulletins/g3186.pdf) which is a diesel fuel lubricant, fuel system cleaner and stabilizer. They also offer a Cetane Boost Additive (http://www.amsoil.com/lit/databulletins/g3188.pdf) that can provide up to a 7-point increase in ULSD and is compatible with bio-diesel. We use both of these products in our semis and farm equipment.

HT,
We have used many different oils in Hurricane Allis over the years (mineral based and synthetic) and currently use AMSOIL synthetic engine and gear oils. We have been using AMSOIL for the last five seasons. Our experience has been that our parts show less wear and last considerably longer since we have started using AMSOIL products.
We see more consistent oil pressures from cold to ho

Feel free to contact me at tadomann@yahoo.com or 913-433-4826 if u have questions or would like to try some AMSOIL. You won't be disappointed.

We sold the Kansas Hooker frame rails and D21 sheet metal to the Schalgle/Armfield team out of NW Missouri back in the winter of '94-95 timeframe. We kept the chassis and engine, added a one piece chrome moly chassis, and changed the sheet metal to AGCO Allis 9650. Otherwise known as Hurricane Allis (1).
This sheet metal is now on a Georgia Technology School's Allis based tractor and c

You will only wonder why you didn't do it sooner after you switch. Our bearing problems went away after we changed HA to a separate reservoir about 15 years ago. We use a 3/4" section on our Aviaid to feed the turbo from a 1 gallon Aviaid tank.

It's been one of those years for us as far as results go. The tractor is performing well each time out but it seems we have been on the wrong end of the draw order more than once as far as track conditions are concerned and we have missed the weight a couple of times too. Oh well, that's tractor pulling for you.
The only breakage we have experienced was at Evansville when the bolt th

Jeff,
The Kansas Hooker D21 was our first pro stock tractor which debuted in 1989. We updated to AGCO 9650 sheetmetal on this tractor and built a chrome-moly frame for it in the winter of '94 or '95 and renamed it Hurricane Allis.
Take care, Todd

You are the one that has been misinformed.
I was in Indiana to visit a power plant for work the week of March 22 and stopped by Boyd and Sons afterwards since I was only 15 miles from them.
Greg Boyd gave me a tour of their farming, construction, construction equipment parts and sales, trucking, and tractor pulling operation. The Boyd's have a very large and impressive operation.

Dear Gutless No Name Poster,
First of all it’s DomaNN not DoMMan.
You must really be out of touch with reality when you say we out spent the competition. It is called keeping current with the technological advances in pro stock tractor pulling. The Allis stock head (even when ported and polished) is the worst flowing head out of the three (AC, JD, & IH). You’re damn right that when a bil
