So day later explain to me how this example is pulling. Hot farm tractor runs into trouble at the 200 ft mark and dies the sled doesnt stop but actually pushes the tractor sideways. How is this got anything to do with pulling. Or tractors running down the track and no load on them till the pan drops and then they die.

Question is how do you keep the wheels spinning together. Would not be a diff lock or you cant steer
Might be a stupid question but if it is a normal truck rear i would think just one tire would spin. Thanks

Why would you drink diet pepsi and then eat skittles that has all that sugar in them. Why not drink milk and eat carrot sticks. Your nutritous snack makes as much sense as this thread does. But it is entertaining

Just thinking about a few videos of pulling and wondering what other opinions may be. It seems that at some pulls and the new style of running down the track with little load on the sled and slamming it down at the end of the track would be harder on pulling vehicles verses the old style of dropping the pan early and loading up the vehicle down the track . Seems that the new way would leave the

All these comments and yet nobody comes up with the solution. When getting work done get a written quote and stick to it. If not done for the quoted price and time do something about it otherwise shut up. Its business and whining on here wont get any work done.

Agree with lewis . Always thought we are marketing a show and therefore figure out what you are selling and leave it alone. When pullers can change it every year to how they want it you loose what your marketing and the cost usually get out of reach. Both for the promoter and for the ones that are building .

Apple is good as is pumpkin on thanksgiving day in the fall. A favorite though it is not pie is cherry cheese cake. Not the gross store bought but home made with graham crumbs. My mother use to make a mean cheese cake cherry or blue berry but then she started baking healthy and now it kind of sucks. A nice lemon merangie pie ranks up there as well with apple. I know my spelling is wrong but

I am currently building a fourth facility for a fair we put one nine different venues through out the season we pull both hot farm and antique and just finished building a hot farm for another puller. Myself and two others have started our own organization whi

In response to team one and not trying to be a smart ass . You Americans can send a man to the moon. You can get 3000 plus hp from a little diesel block. You can shoot the gnat off a dog's back in Iraq. You can elect a president without Russian help. But you can't figure out how to get together and put a system together that would support thousand of family farms . I never knew Americ

Ever wonder why new holland doesn't build more tractors than they can sell and when they have stockpiles of tractors burn them and sell the scrap. Something like farmers producing more milk than you need and then complain about other countries not taking thier extra products and then expecting compensation through gov programs. Why not produce what you need and get paid for it . Ford

For the record I had dealings with boersen found them to be very patient and was very honest and excellent to deal with . To the normal person farming a few 1000 acres or a home owner with a house 150 mill seems like big numbers but look at boersen who farms 70000 plus acres hogs trucking grain handling etc on his scale I think it's alot of money but doubt it is not manageable pe
