If cubic inches is the real problem, then why isn't that the aspect that the NTPA is focusing on? Cubic inches are to big- we have to allow the big money teams billit blocks to widen the gap between the corporate puller and the small machine shop innovators. It's completely ignorant to allow any billit block, while striking down guys that want to run actual ag blocks. I suppose the rest

So what you are getting at is "single feed intake manifold on diesel Supers and inlet should be no larger I.D. than some predetermined size? That would really hurt the high volume setups.

I have a DVT-800 that I wanted to try, but apparently it makes a lot more sense to allow billit blocks in these classes but its not OK to build off of a platform that is an agricultural based block that is both stronger than blocks currently used and cost 5% of what the billit blocks cost. Purely a builders rule.......Yet again.....

SSD has just been killed. Going the way of Nascar (whatever that is). We aren't stupid. Turbo restrictions only result in ONE thing. Higher prices. Always has and always will. I hope the class "kneels down" for the season.

Head down to your local CNH dealership and take a look in their shop. I'm sure you'll find a 7110 type travel tor split in half. Sure looks like the same rear as the 88 series with a 8.3 cummins in front of it.......

Probably thinking about this all wrong, but for the sake of argument- How is an aftermarket recasted or billit block any more authentic to say a ford tractor than using an IH block? If the IH block is durable enough to meet the demands of the LSS class, and can be purchased anywhere for $400, wouldn't that be the block to choose? Now don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting that ever

Yes. Make sure you get the rear engine plate, starter and flywheel with the engine. There are also better heads available for that engine. Some from truck applications that didn't utilize siamese ports.

The catch is that it is only allowed at SN/GN events. I guess I wouldn't recommend using the cheap and plentiful L10 base if you couldn't run for points at your local state events.

Right next to where it says that 4 valves per cylinder heads may be used provided they are a stock application head for the ag block chosen.

Pros haven't adopted the "any agricultural block" verbiage yet? I thought that they did when they opened the door for billit blocks? My bad.

I thought the exact same thing, Freightliner. I figure that this must be some event in addition to the two pulls that Boaz hosts throughout the year? Not sure. No tractors= no interest in my case, but having a good turnout at this event could possibly lead to separating the trucks and tractors at the other pulls they have. I personally like it when the event staff schedules trucks/ v8 tractors on

I appreciate the input guys. I have no reason to use stainless lines. I could easily make them out of the mild material. 37* flare would be easier to achieve than the 45*, so that's where I thought the JIC would be optimal. Maybe you are on to something though, Injpumped. Maybe I should simply make my own bulkhead fittings and mock the ends of a common injector on both sides. This is the onl

Thanks for the input, and I understand what you are talking about. I think what I will have to do is buy a set of lines and cut them to get the right lengths for the two halves that I need. Then I will have to clean them up, install nuts and ferrules on each side and flare the injection lines. A JIC-4 bulkhead will be close, while a JIC-3 fitting is dead on for my application. Sourcing the JIC-3

I downloaded their entire catalog and didn't find what I am looking for. Are you suggesting that I make lines that adapt to and from a JIC-2 or JIC-3 bulkhead fitting? I would like to keep the bulkheads as close to .093 or .120 as possible.

Does anyone have a good source for bulkhead connectors for .093 and .120 injector lines? I need to re-route a set of lines through a 1/2" thick rail and am interested in looking at different options. Thank you. 608-317-7321

Would allowing ANY agricultural block in the prostock class make for better competition/ participation from other colors? Scanias look pretty good from the inside.... Perhaps Case would become a stronger competator at state and national levels? There are a couple engines that are prominant in other breeds that would fall under this category. L10 cummins blocks are dime a dozen. If billit blocks a
