What are you guys that are running 30.5's running for ratios? Mostly interested in alcohol burners. I was leaning towards 22:1 and then 1 under and 1 over.

I spoke with Karl tonight, and he said he can take care of the axle shafts, the billet differential and bull gears while trimming some weight out of it, and even strengthen it a bit with some strategic bearings and a few more upgrades.

Looking for information on a 656 rearend for a llss. Mainly suppliers of parts including billet differential, cut bull gears, hollow axles, brakes and any covers or tricks to get it as light as possible. Thanks in advance.

Now if I built that for WNY, it would be illegal. No decubing allowed.

I talked to Ben after a wild looking run last year at Langford. What a genuinely nice guy and a pleasure to talk to. Love his tractor and you can't help but cheer on the nice guys. Ben is definitely one of those guys and he has been having a great run. Keep it up Ben. I'd love to see you pull the championship. It's tough to decide who to cheer for when you and Mark run each other.

I researched most of the associations before I started and I don't know any club that allows over a 315 with twins, diesel only and a max of 370 on alcohol with a single 3x4. I'd be curious to know who allows a 410 with 2 chargers.

Where are most guys running their alcohol motors in the class? I've got some people telling me 6500+ and then others saying they can't spin past 5500 on a 3x4 charger. Just curious as a few seem to be screaming down the track. I know every motor is different based on bore and stroke, but just wondering what the general consensus is.

Great guy, great family, great effort! Jason thinks outside the box. When I first saw the Commander I wasn't sure, but it sure has grown on me! It sure looks good next to his dad's Hooter Scooter! Talented family of BUILDERS right there!

Well if you actually read my post, you'd be able to decipher that I knew that. For whatever reason my original question got moved to the middle of the topic. I don't really care about the new class. Was touching base on why every association across the US has to come up with their own rules instead of everyone using a single set so people can build a tractor and compete anywhere in the

I posted this on an old thread but I'll ask it outright. Why the 24.5 tire size and not the 30.5 tires the NTPA and the southern associations run? Just curious as I intend to run WNY but play in the BOB a bit.

WNY Pro Farm and to the Ohio pullers, why the 24.5 limit when the NTPA and the southern associations all allow 30.5's? Everyone is talking about universal rules, so I am curious why this isn't across the board.

So well said Jake. It's sad to see that a small time guy on a limited budget works his tail off and builds a tractor that does well and he's labeled a cheater and has forgotten where he came from. The best part? Jason was laughing about all the haters on the phone yesterday. He must be doing something right if he's got so many keyboard pullers talking crap...

I've heard that the 560 rear is actually heavier than the 656. Is this accurate? What size clutch fits in the 560? 11 inch or 12? 656? 666? Thanks guys. Just trying to do this right.

ESP watcher...Freedom was a brand new track. The track surface had shards of shale in it. The decision was based on track conditions and saving their equipment, mainly tires! I spoke with a number of esp and pro farm pullers who all said the track conditions were subpar. Maybe you should have the facts before you throw stones. Mark nor Jason have forgotten where they came from, neither one of the

As straight up of a family as you will ever meet. Great people. Jason's success comes from the fact that he never stops thinking and is always evaluating his runs and his set up. He lives tractor pulling and I think he's just built a better mousetrap.
