If the idea of less pulloffs is to reduce breakage (I don't buy that but whatever)
You clearly don't understand what heat does to an engine then.

I'd much prefer timing lights to 365' runs.
Then go drag racing.

I understand the limits of the current superchargers, and since we are playing in dream land anyway, new superchargers would be made as well. The engine combination would be billet everything based loosely on the allison/griffon design.

For Outlaw- one of Ross's Steam engines
NTPA Mod class 2 Allisons
PPL/ NTPA Unlimited 2 Griffions
Both V12 combinations would be heavily modified to withstand higher RPMS.

I'm not real sure what the intent of this rant is all about. Sure tractor pulling is expensive, but no matter what rules and limits you put on any class, there will always be somebody wiling to out spend everyone else. Look at the LLSS
non component
370/470 cube limit
6000-6500lbs depending on rules
Still have well over $100,000 being spent on some.

One would first have to know the weight of the 11,200lb sled. If indeed they would need to drive out of the hole further, to get hooked up and going. A fuel curve change is all that is needed to fix that.

With some searching, I could build a rolling chassis with bell housing and transmission under $15,000 for a LLSS. Most expensive part would be wheels for the Mercedes planetaries. I'd also drop the weight to 5800lbs.

Ok I'm a Big Block Chevy guy with superchargers so turbos are a foreign to me. I understand the size, 3X4, 4.1, etc. but what turbo are they using?
I know where is an old 4 charger setup that what I know is a an 8 on the bottom an 8 in the middle and a pair of 74s on top. Is there a chart somewhere that will tell the size of these ( I understand housing can change).
Also has anybody b

They shouldn't, not every class needs to be GN. If you are a light or limited and want to run GN build a pro stock or DSS.

I would be glad to help on an outboard break setup, I would also recommend mico style calipers for outboard brakes. Jostock or Engler are great choices, my kit fits either style. If you were going to try wilwood this is the one I use the most.
