Do a search and see what you can find.. this has been discussed a few times... It seems to depend on the who you ask...
You will have a compression decrease going to the 55 head...
You will only need the later rods, if you go to the later pistons, because the piston pin is a different size..

I think part of it is the rules.. The GT42 comes with a 3in exhaust wheel and usually a 2.75 or 3 in compressor.. Many of the tractor class have a spec for both.. 3x3.. Most of the truck classes only have a spec for the intake.. S400 can come with many different exhaust wheels..
I think off the shelf.. The GT is a better turbo..

I think it's going to have to swivel a little on both ends.. Friend has his with just an Eyelet on the cylinder rod end with swivel rod ends I linked to above on the ends of the tie rod..
I ordered the smaller 2" version..

Which cylinder did you order??
I just ordered some of these parts today.. I ordered the threaded ends from surplus center also.. Plan to use the heim ends from them also..
I think that is the one with the stud.. But I'll use one with out the stud on the cylinder.. Haven't decide if I'm going to reduce it down and get away from the 3/4 fitting.. Seems like a little over kill

I would don't think that is true.. Green and Red would still be in the same place.. (maybe the 8.3L Cummins might have a good jump.) All have HPCR systems that will work.. Almost everyone is using a Bosch or a Denso system... It just takes someone to spend the time and $$ to get it setup... Most of the work as been done by the DMax and Cummins Common Rail guys already... Someeone just need

You have an early 30 series tractor with the poppet style steering.. It has.. had the big steering valve.. The same basic system used on the 4020-10's..
I know some have talked about using they lawn mower pump and steering valve.. but didn't know how it would work with stock size steering cylinder..

The shaft that the PTO hub drives.. I've seen the inside of the PTO hub cut out on some.. It's not a must do, just nice to have the extra support of the hub.. Most likely you'll have the rest of the PTO gutted so it's not turning anything..

If you didn't change the oil flow.. you should have had to engage the PTO lever at the same time as you engage the foot pedal.. or very soon after...
When you remove the bottom half of the lube reduction valve.. Just make sure you plug off the PTO Brake, and PTO supply at the cross over tubes or very close.. (at the tubes is usually the easiest.) I'd leave the shaft in to help suppo

How did you modify your oil flow.. there are a couple of different ways to get the oil to the PTO clutch.. You can Modify the valve.. or remove part of the lube reduction valve.. you just have to plug off some of the ports..

JD tech.. Sorry.. I was directing that toward Risky..
I'm not sure, but if Kenny's pulling parts might have something also.. (Might be closer than rusch, but I know they have the parts.). You could also try messaging KTA on here, he's done a bunch and would be close to you..

The early 7.6L blocks were stronger, because they were designed to hold up a tractor because they were part of the frame.. that later just sat on top of the frame.. The later ones a little lighter.. Mounting won't be an issue.. the only mounting issue will be the bolt holes on the front set.. some where a little further apart.. I thought I knew which ones were in what.. but other posted hav

The 4850 engine will work... (still a 6466 engine) I'm guessing the question on the 6076 engine.. is the later block with the oil cooler that is larger and is mounted vertical and a little futher back, instead of the one thats in the middle of the block that is mounted horizontal. Either will work.. the engine that had the larger oil cooler was used as a non structural block.. (not used t

If you look at the front axle and Fenders on a 6030, it listed it as a "Standard" which some called Wheatland tractors.. (Mainly on 2 cylinders.) This is using JD Web Parts..

What size exhaust housing..

Have used the Aqua Tirger Surwood pumps also... (I think surpluscenter.com has a few left.)
Also looks at the water pump Summit has..Meziere, CVR Proflo pumps and others..
These are the universal pumps they have.. I have been thinking of trying something else next time.. but probably won't because I've never had any issues with the Surwood pump.. and you can get parts for them.. (a

Ask them for the information on of the engine Serial tag.. If its a 1992, it most likely an early 7.6L engine.. (466) but should have the good head that most are looking for.. (everyone calls the 55 Series head.)
Need the model number off the tag..
Not sure about the 850 grader info...

The pump is on the front on a 4320.. Not sure if there is enough to machine it out for an A pump mount.. I've seen adapters made to run A pumps on other engines.
I'm guessing you have to run a stock block??

Nick.. its a total ratio including final drive planetaries, diff and transmission.. Also remember the tire size differance from what you are used to working with.. (also think about your tire size in your gearing.)
7th will be too slow.. I don't have my chart in front of me.. (I'm sure someone will post it.) of the ratio of 8th gear.. You are stuck with one pulling gear.. at 6500lbs

The function of the attenuator is to help reduce the hydraulic noise coming into the cab.. not needed.. (The round canister behind the right front cab mount.)
You just need a line running from the pump back to where the line goes up for the steering and brakes.. You could also reduce the front pump pressure.. to what ever it takes for steering...
