In a 4x4 even with the front and rear locked.. you can steering enough because the front is pulling.. on a Two Wheel drive need the brakes.. half the time the front is off the ground.. (even if it was on the ground it would just plow along straight.. try to drive a tractor with the diff lock on.. then think about driving it with out using the steering wheel.. that sounds stupid.. but you get the

Can you decube?? I always thought a 414 (6.8L) would work good.. (especially in a limited RPM class.) narrow the bore down, notch the sleeves for the vavles.. basically what some are doing to the 496 (8.1L) to run in a 466 class.. Long stroke, bigger journals, taller deck height, better rods.. lots of torque..

I didn't see that turbo lists for the chopper, but it doesn't matter.. I will depend on what the rules are for the 3lm 466.. Do you have to run it as a box charger, with no modifications?? I think the turbo you listed has a .100Ar housing on it.. and is probably in the 2.3-2.5 range.. I don't know the exact specs on the stock 3lm.. I was looking at CDS's site and they list a

When you weld the hubs together.. you are welding the PTO clutch hub to the traction clutch hub.. if leave all the PTO drive line parts in.. any time the pedal is out, the pto is turning.. Once they are welded together, you change how the oil flows, so when you let off the pedal it is engaging both clutches at the same time.. power goes through the hubs to the input shaft.. The other option is to

Like the others have said.. U need to get the the hubs connected.. (never heard of bolting them.. but then.. I never thought about bolting them) I really is easy to get the clutches to work together..
If you have a late 466 with a P-Pump.. and have the screw turned on the pump.. I'd bet you are making more than 250Hp.. I've dynoed 4640 & 4840 in the 300hp range, with just the farmer g

Can you at least get the model number from him?? Depending on which pump, some were setup to run at lower pressure.. VP44 pumps, high pressure common rail systems.. some of these had lots of volume, but don't have the HP to run at high pressures..(and volume.)

I don't remember hearing any complaining the first few yrs the turbines were out, they were always at the bottom.. If they don't have any major failures, they will probably be on top, mostly because of what Allen said.. they make every hook.. That's how you win the points.. You don't have to win all the hooks, its about making the events..

What are you trying to do with the pump.. are just using it for lube, or are you still trying to use it as a charge pump, and still run the front pump??

If you can go to a 14 ply tire.. I was looking at changing from the 16 to 17.5 for the load rating... (I don't remember the ply rating on the 17.5, but it was about 6000lbs per tire.) Any idea about what the rating is for a 16in with a 14ply? (I know it will vary between brands of tires.)

There's a bunch of different turbo's out there for the cummins.. (stock.) Hx35 and hx40's.. h1c.. different exhaust housings.. 9,12, 14, 16, 18.. (and i think 20 & 22's.) the h1c's had a few different exhaust wheels, the 35's should be 58mm the 40's should be 60mm... parts will interchange between most.. (some will take a little machine work.)
